LIMBANG, 24 Oct: RM100,000 allocation through MADANI Upward Schools Programme is fully utilised by St Edmund's National School (SK) Balance to strengthen digital learning facilities and improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning processes (PdP).
St Edmund's School Principal, Anthony Upe said that the allocation was used to provide three main facilities: LED screens, smartboards and five access points units to increase internet reach in the school.
According to him, the improvement of the internet network makes it easier for teachers to implement online-based PdP, as well as allowing the smart television facilities available in each classroom to be fully utilized.
"With this programme the internet has now improved and at school level it is actually being done digitally in St Edmund's.
"Since this facility has been in place, it has made it easier for my teachers to implement PdP based on their special lines and all the smart TVs we supply in each classroom can be used to our maximum.
"This for me has had a positive impact on the teaching and learning of our children, where they are more interested in coming to school and studying", she said.
He said this at a press conference after the inaugural meeting of the Digital Travel Programme and the delivery council for MADANI Lifting Village (KAM) and MADANI Lifting School (SAM) of the Ministry of Digital Year 2026 in St Edmund's Parliament House, here today.
