Election machines in Gersik village strengthened

KUCHING, 4 Nov: The United Bumiputera Party (UN) Peace Beach Branch continues to intensify efforts to strengthen party organization and establish machine preparations for the upcoming 13th Sarawak State Legislative Assembly General Election (PRU).

The United Nations Head of the Peace Beach Branch, Dr. Abdul Rahman Junaidi said that efforts were continued through an off-the-field approach and friendly meetings with leaders and party members at the branch level to ensure each machine understands its role and responsibilities.

According to him, the meeting was an important platform for sharing information related to party management as well as discussing current developments and preparations for the 13th Sarawak PRU DUN.

"Meetings like this are important to ensure that the link between the branch leadership and the branch leadership is always close, while also giving us space to share information and coordinate party work.

"We want each branch to be ready, understand their respective responsibilities and play an effective role in ensuring the party's strength continues to be strengthened", he said.

He said this during a friendly meeting with the UN leadership of Ranting Kampung Gersik who was also accompanied by the UN Branch N.4 Peace Beach Committee on Tuesday.

At the same time Dr Abdul Rahman also recorded his appreciation and congratulations to the UN leadership line Ranting Kampung Gersik who continues to commit themselves to taking responsibility in strengthening party organization at the root level.

He specifically congratulated Mohd Alias Mohd Salleh who is chairman of the United Nations Ranting Village Gersik, Noor Shafiqah Shanaz Rosli as head of the UN Women's Ranting Movement and Nazreen Eden Arabi who leads the UN Youth Ranting Movement.

He said the role of the three wings of the party is crucial in ensuring continuity of leadership and active involvement of society especially women and youth.

"The leadership line of the branch is a major driver of the party at the root level. Their commitment is essential to ensure that all the party's plans and trusts can be implemented properly", he said.

He hoped that close cooperation between the branch leadership, branches, women's and youth movements will continue to be maintained in order to ensure that UN Peacekeeping is stable, organized and prepared for future political challenges.

In addition, the strength of a party depends not only on leadership at the top level but also on the unity, loyalty and commitment of all members at the root-level.
