Sarawak police confirmed the best housing ratings

KUCHING, 19 Oct: Acting Commissioner of the Sarawak Police, DCP Saifullizan Ishak received an honorable visit from Chairman of the Best PDRM Housing Assessment Panel of Sarawak/Sabah Zone, ACP Tey Kong Seng at the Sarawak Containment Police Headquarters today.

The visit to the Sarawak Police Commissioner's Guest Room was aimed at discussing cooperation between the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP) of Sarawak with the assessment panel in improving the quality of evaluation and recognition of best housing in the continent.

According to the Sarawak Police statement, the meeting was also a platform for exchanging views on the role of PDRM in supporting safe, orderly and harmonious community development.

"Public safety aspects are also given particular attention in ensuring that the assessed housing environment meets the needs of residents' safety and well-being.

"In addition, the two sides shared views and experiences to improve the effectiveness of housing assessment systems covering aspects of community safety, community welfare and environmental sustainability", according to the statement.

The visit was attended by the Sarawak Department of Management Administration Tourist Officer, ACP James Jonathan as well as a delegation from the Best PDRM Housing Assessment Panel Zone Sarawak/Sabah.-TVS
