In a post shared on its social media, JKR Sarawak said the project involves the construction of approximately 6.3km of road to JKR R5 standards, featuring a two-way undivided carriageway, two signalised intersections and minor junctions.

The scope of works also includes the construction of the 39.8-metre-long Loba Gong Bridge.

Upon completion, the road is expected to improve connectivity between Sejingkat Bridge and the route leading to Batang Samarahan Bridge, facilitating smoother journeys for road users.

JKR Sarawak said it remained committed to ensuring that the project meets the required technical, quality and safety standards to deliver infrastructure that benefits the public. — DayakDaily
