Motorcyclist killed in accident along Jln Datuk Mohd Musa; cops seek witnesses, dashcam footage

KOTA SAMARAHAN, Oct 17: A 22-year-old man was killed when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a lorry at Jalan Datuk Mohd Musa here on Friday (Oct 16).

According to Kota Samarahan district police chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi, the accident was believed to have occurred at 8.30am when the lorry, driven by a 43-year-old man, was heading from Kampung Pinang to the quarry at Jalan Bukit Stigang.

“Upon arriving at the location, the lorry was slowing down to enter a junction when the motorcycle, which was coming from behind, hit the lorry.

“The motorcyclist was declared dead by a medical officer who was at the scene,” he said in a statement.

Police will investigate the case under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
