Four team advances to Sarawak Premier Cup semi finals

BINTULU: The four semi-finalists of the Sarawak Premier Cup 2026 have been confirmed following the conclusion of the quarter-finals on Saturday (Oct 17).

Last year’s finalists Bintulu FA and Samarahan FA will meet again in the last four after both teams advanced from their respective quarter-final ties.

Defending champions Bintulu secured their place after edging ATM 1-0 on aggregate, despite a goalless draw in the second leg at BDA Synthetic Field, Bintulu.

Last year’s runners up Samarahan advanced with a 6-2 aggregate victory over Limbang after winning the second leg 4-1 at Kota Samarahan Stadium.

Kuching FA also booked their semi-final place in convincing fashion, thrashing Miri 7-0 at Padang Perumahan, Jalan Astana, to complete a 9-1 aggregate win.

Serian FA claimed the remaining spot after defeating Sibu 3-0 in the second leg at Stadium Tun Zaidi, Sibu, securing a 5-0 aggregate victory.

The Samarahan FA squad advances to the semi-finals.

The semi final first legs will take place on Oct 24, with Samarahan hosting Bintulu at Kota Samarahan Stadium, while Kuching face Serian at Balai Ringin Sports Complex.

The return legs are scheduled for Oct 31, with Bintulu hosting Samarahan at BDA Synthetic Field and Serian hosting Kuching at Padang Perumahan, Jalan Astana.
