KUCHING, 21 Oct: SarawakPass registered over 1.93 million registered users equipped with access to more than 300 digital services, thus strengthening public service digitisation efforts in Sarawak.
Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg said it was planned from 2023 as a credible digital identity to enable people to use their digital skills across various public and private services
"Following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) on 28 November 2025, SarawakPass was successfully integrated with MyDigital ID in June 2026.
"SarawakPass now has 1.93 million registered users and provides access to over 300 services. Its service network was also expanded through the integration of single sign-on (SSO) functions with SEB Cares, Sarawak Water and AirBorneo", he said.
He said this during his speech on the roll-out of the Supply Bill (2027), 2026 and the Proposal to Refer Budget Resolution for Development Expenditure for the Year 2027 at the 19th Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Conference today.
According to him, the integration with MyDigital ID enables users to use SSO functionality to access online services of the Government of Sarawak and the Federal participating in the system.
He said the implementation of SarawakPass led by the Sarawak Public Services Digitalisation Unit (SCSDU) will continue to be a trusted platform for integrated services.
At the same time, it will enhance more responsive and proactive service delivery including in targeted aid channelling.
